SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA: Release September 9th, 2019

For Immediate Release

Wheelco Truck & Trailer partakes in the first Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light The Night Walk at Falls Park in Sioux Falls, SD on Thursday, September 12th, 2019. Light The Night will gather together to celebrate, honor and remember those touched by cancer.

Contributing generously to childhood charities and non-profit organizations, Wheelco Truck & Trailer is thrilled to not only donate to the cause both in monetary support but also dedicating time and personnel. Additionally, they’ve established the #WheelcoWarriors team, made up of employees, families, and friends who support LLS’s cause.

As an established truck and trailer distribution leader in the Midwest, Wheelco’s commitment to high-quality products and exceptional customer service has allowed them to strive in many communities for over half a century. Wheelco has become a prominent part of these communities, investing not only in their employees but customers, families, and neighbors.

“Investing in communities is a great way to give back to those who have helped support our business—whether it is giving back to our employees and their families, our business partners, or the neighborhoods we live in,”

While Wheelco supports many organizations, nonprofits, and charities, they contribute especially to those who endow children initiatives. This is especially so with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. On August 28, 2019, LLS announced that it has doubled its funding of Pediatric Cancer Research Grants. With a $25 Million Commitment, this is part of their effort to change the course of treatment for children. Further, LLS also supports grants and initiatives relevant to adolescent and young adult cancer patients.

With September being Blood Cancer Awareness Month, Wheelco is proud to team up with LLS’s Light the Night Walk in Sioux Falls, SD. They will be providing attendees with bottled water at the hydration station. Moreover, Wheelco employees will be contributing to the cause with their own fundraising contributions and the #WheelcoWarriors will be walking side-by-side with other survivors, families, and friends of those who have been directly affected by cancer. Join Wheelco in bringing light to the darkness of cancer!
