Wheelco plans to hire two to four additional truck technicians to support the new enterprise, and the coming shop will be able to service up to four trucks at a time. Wheelco has two locations in Sioux Falls and St. Paul with combination full-service parts stores and service shops.
Mitchell is the third Wheelco location to add a service shop, although the Mitchell parts store has been open since 1997. Wheelco chose Mitchell as their next service shop location due to customer demand. Truck services will include suspension work, driveline work, and preventive maintenance, among others. Hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
